Plum-tastic Birthday

Hi, Friends,

I made this card for a friend who has a birthday coming up and wanted to share it with you.

IMG_1119 (Large)

For my image I used Peachy Tilda and instead of using the fruit as peaches I decided to make them plums.  The floral paper is from my stash and the other is Core’dinations. I really hate to cover this stuff up because I just love the way that it sands. The roses are Prima Fairytale Roses in French White and added some Ranger Stickles Lavendar to the tips.

I matted Tilda using my Nestabilities Labels 10. The lattice is made by cutting 1/4” strips and then gluing them down. The little swirls were made with Tim Holtz Sizzix Elegant Flourishes. I also inked the edges of portions of the papers using Tim Holtz distress ink – Dusty Concord

I colored my image with the following Copics:

  • Skin – E13, E11, E00, E000, E0000, R22, R21, R20
  • Clothes and plums – BV06, BV04, BV02, Bv00
  • Boots – N6, N4, N2
  • Hair and basket – E57, E53, E50
