Bildmalarna’s Tossa meets Mojo Monday

I made a new Tossa card today. I have had her stamped for awhile but hadn’t had time to color her so today I decided to do so.

This is Tossa and Little Wisper available at Stamping Scrapping. Isn’t she adorable with her little kitten?

I followed the sketch at Mojo Monday. I am also entering this little cutie in the Bildmalarna challenge at the Sweden site – www.bildmalarna.blogspot.com. Check it out!

Magnolia Stamp Lovers – Red, White and Blue

Our challenge at MSL is to use Red, White an d Blue in your project. I wanted to be a little patriotic with mine so decided to do that type of them.IMG_0910 (Small)

I used the stair step pattern for my card. I used Tilda and Edwin from the very first stamp club I ever received. I just love Magnolia Stamps, they are cute and fun to color!

I used my Cricut Mini Independence Day cartridge for the sentiment and both of the flags and I attached them with toothpicks. Perfect size for Edwin and Tilda.

This cute little charm is from my stash.

Scrappy Frogs – It’s a sketch challenge

This time at Scrappy Frogs we have selected a sketch challenge.

For my project I made a card for my baby girl, she turned 24 last week. My how time flies!!

Here is my card:

IMG_0918 (Small)

I used some glittery paper from DCWV, ribbon from my stash, my Just Rite Stamper for both sentiments and Nestabilities Big Scallop Circles.  Here is a close up of the circle.

IMG_0917 (Small)

On the inside of the card I used this image from Mo’s Digital Pencil.

IMG_0920 (Small)

When my daughter was in her early teens she had this uncontrollable hair, so much so that she was dubbed Puff Mama so when I saw this image I just knew it was for her.

IMG_0919 (Small)

My sentiment is Wishing you a Hair raising Day. Enjoy! I always love giving cards that get an ‘aahhh’ and then ‘oh, that’s not nice’!!

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to take a look at all of the other wonderful creations at Scrappy Frogs! Our challenges now run every three weeks so you have plenty of time to create with our sketch!

My first Hanglar & Stanglar

This is the debut of my first Hanglar & Stanglar card. I purchased a stamp kit from Ebay.  I was so excited to find them, I have been wanting some since before I started my Magnolia Stamps collection so I had to buy them.

I also recently learned from a great cyber friend, Vivi, that there is a new challenge blog for them so I had to take the opportunity to ink up one of these cuties and give it a go.

Drum roll please ……..

Ta da …..

IMG_0938 (Small)

The sad part is I don’t know the name of this little girl so I am going to call her Sally. Not sure why that’s just what came to mind.

The challenges that I chose to enter this card in are:

IMG_0939 (Small)

Here is a close up of ‘Sally’. I used the following Copics:

  • Skin: E13, E11, E00, E000, R21, R20, R01
  • Clothes: E04, E42, E41, E40, Colorless Blender
  • Hair: E33, E30

IMG_0940 (Small)

For my sentiment I used my Just Rite stamper. My papers are from my stash along with the ribbon and roses. I inked the edges of my paper with SU! Cranberry and Creamy Caramel.

Thanks for stopping by!

Bildmalarna Wedding Wednesday #3

It’s that time again! We are on week three of our Wedding Wednesday challenge over at the Bildmalarna challenge blog

For my creation this time I chose to use the Wedding cake and the wedding sentiment.

IMG_0927 (Small)

I chose some papers from DCWV, they are all glittery and I thought they fit perfect. Even though this is a wedding cake stamp it would make a great cake for any type of celebration!

I added some Ranger Stickles to the roses to give it some shine. Not sure how well it shows in the pic though.

IMG_0928 (Small)

And here is a pic of the sentiment.

You’re Sweet by House Mouse

Well,it’s a House Mouse day for me today. I just received my House Mouse of the Month stamp from Stamping Scrapping and just had to ink it up. Cindy did an easel card the other day and you can see it here. I got my inspiration from her and had to use some of my new toys that I purchased from her store.

My card fits into the following challenges:

IMG_0921 (Small)

One of these days I will get used to my new camera and figure out how to properly portion things so please bear with me! This is actually a 6 x 6 easel card although it does look a little smaller at the top. I used the July Stamp of the Month. Isn’t it just so cute?!

IMG_0922 (Small)

For my image I used the following Copics:

  • Big mouse – E99, E97, E95, E00, R20
  • Little mouse with tongue – E77, E74, E71, R20, E00
  • Bouncy mouse – E29, E27, E25, E00, R20
  • Ice cream cone – R21, R01, R000, E53, E51, E50

I also added some Ranger Stickles to the ice cream but you can’t see them in the pic.

For my paper I used the Core-dinations Chocolate Box collection. I am so easy to please because I love everything but this stuff is cool. All of the pages in this collection are brown on one side (thus the chocolate) and on the back side is a different color and this one has pink. My other papers are DCWV.

IMG_0923 (Small)

For my embossing I used the Cuttlebug Scrollwork Embossing folder. I then sanded the cardstock with this great little sanding block only available at Stamping Scrapping. It’s great because when it gets gunked up with dust you just run it under water to clean it off and go again! I traced my Large Oval Nestie for my center and then carefully cut it out and left the swirls in place.

OK, that’s it for now. I hope to be back later with another post but will have to wait and see. I have a couple of days off of work and just want to create!!

Happy Monday with Happy Hopper

At House Mouse and Friends we have a challenge to use Pink and Flowers.

IMG_0833 (Small)

This card has a little surprise for the receiver. The outside of the card has a small window cut out so you can see the face of the image. Then when you open it you see the full image.

For the edges on the paper I used my Zutter Distrezz It All. I sure love this thing, it makes such quick work of distressing and you can make it as rough or as smooth as you want just by adjusting the amount of pressure when you are running the paper across the little distresser.

IMG_0837 (Small)

I used Cast of Characters for the image on the inside. This stamp is so much fun to color and I just love the little mice!!

We would love to see you at House Mouse and Friends so why not check it out! The winner of the challenge receives a House Mouse stamp from Stamping Scrapping.

Sketch at Bildmalarna Blog

Over at Bildmalarna Challenge blog our challenge is to use the below sketch designed by Sheri.

image

Here is my card:

 IMG_0902 (Small)

I used Tossa with falling hearts for my image. I colored her with Copics and used the background paper for her dress. I just stamped another image on the paper and then cut out her dress.

For my sentiment I used my new stamp set made by Just Rite. It is a perfect addition to my Bildmalarna stamps and I just love the sentiments.

Thanks for stopping by.

Magnolia Stamp Lovers and Father’s Day

We have a new challenge at Magnolia Stamp Lovers and it’s Father’s Day.

For my creation I used three …. yes three …. different Magnolia stamps for this card.

IMG_0881 (Small)

I used Jolly Roger Tilda, Pirate Tilda and Pirate Edwin. Since I made the card for my daughter to give to her husband from their kids I thought these images were just perfect! The hard part was coming up with the sentiment.

IMG_0882 (Small)

I colored my images with Copics and I masked the three images together and used the new Tim Holtz Sizzix folders. This one is Burlap.  The papers are DCWV All Boy stack.

IMG_0883 (Small)

So, for the inside, here is my sentiment. Not great but not bad, my daughter loves it so that works for me!

Come on over to Magnolia Stamp Lovers and join in with your Father’s Day creation … see ya there!
