Ribbon Challenge at SSCC

Happy Halloween! Today it is my turn, Stephanie, to post on Stamping Scrapping Challenge Central . Even though it is Halloween I chose to create a card that features the Bildmalarna Baby stamp.

IMG_1425 (Small)

What do you think? I used the following items to create this cutie:

Here are some more pics:

 IMG_1426 (Small)

I added a sparkly tulle bow behind the nestie and added rhinestones to the SSD stamp. It’s a great stamp, it stamps circles and you can just place your embellishment over the top, awesome idea!

IMG_1427 (Small)

Close up of the image all colored in pastels.

IMG_1428 (Small)

I cute a ribbon and threaded it through where the ribbon is placed on the stamped image.

IMG_1429 (Small)

I threaded ribbon through the punch all the way around the mat.

IMG_1430 (Small)

And the inside.

Be sure to hop on over and enter your ribbon challenge, remember, as long as Cindy carries it and you link to it you are eligible for a prize so why not enter our challenge? We would love to stop by and say hi!!

Purple and Black at Magnolia Stamp Lovers

Hi Friends,
Today starts our new challenge of Purple and Black at Magnolia Stamp Lovers. IMG_1412 (Small)
For my card I used this adorable Longing Tilda for my image. For my borders I used MS Looped Hearts punches. My sentiment is from SSD Stamps Lacey Squares.
IMG_1415 (Small)
I colored her with the following Copics and used the new Copic X-Press paper. This is some great paper!  I added some Ranger Stickles to the lace on her sleeve and her headband.
  • Skin – E13, E11, E00, E000, E0000, R22, R21, R20
  • Dress – B69, B66, B63
  • Hair – E35, E33, E51, E50
  • Outline – B60
  • Tabletop – N3, N2, N1
IMG_1413 (Small) IMG_1414 (Small)
For my bow I punched a piece of 12 x 1 paper, scored it every 1/2” and pulled it into a circle. For the black portion I cut a piece of lace and threaded the bottom, pulled it together and tied if off. I will have a tutorial soon on how I did this.
For the inside of my card I used the MS Heart Looped punches again.
IMG_1416 (Small)
With the size of the bow I needed a larger envelope so I used my pattern from Priscilla Style’s for an envelope box.
IMG_1417 (Small)
For the front of the box I used the same MS punch, my square nestabilities and more stamps from the SSD Stamps Labels Square.  I used embossing powder for the images.
IMG_1418 (Small)
Here is a close up.
IMG_1419 (Small)
And a pic of the back of the envelope box.

Thanks for stopping by to see my creation!

Just hangin’ out

Today I would like to show you a card I made over the weekend. I made this card for a contractor that is helping us out at work.

I used Dangling Sea Edwin for my image.

IMG_1267 (Small) (2)

The papers are from my stash and I used some twine to hang the anchor from the A in Thanks. I inked the edges of the papers with Tim Holtz Broken China Distress ink pad.

Here is a close up of Edwin and I colored him with Copics.

IMG_1268 (Small)

For the inside I cut out the sentiment using my Doodletype Cricut Cartridge.

Gift Card Holder – Stamping Scrapping Challenge Central

Hi, Everyone,

Today it is my turn to post at SSCC. Our challenge this time is to make a gift card holder. My gift card holder uses a modified version of the T-slide card found here

  IMG_1252 (Small) (2)

I made this for my oldest granddaughter who will be seven in a couple of weeks. For my image I used the adorable Boho Gilli by anaRy Designs. Isn’t she just too cute? My granddaughter is going to just love her!! For the scallops on the side I used my Magnolia Tilda Lace die. For my stamp background I used Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels 4.

IMG_1253 (Small)

I colored her with the following Copics:

  • Skin – E13, E11, E00, E000, E0000, R22, R21, R20
  • Pants – B97, B95, B93, B91
  • Hat, shirt, shoes and purse – RV09, RV04, RV02, RV00
  • Hair – E99, E97, Y21, E51

For the sparkles I used Ranger Stickles and added a little pom-pom to the top of the hat. I also used the Stickles on the SEVEN at the top of the card.

IMG_1254 (Small)

At the bottom of the card is a flower that when pulled opens up the inside to reveal the gift card holder. I also added a Happy Birthday sentiment.

IMG__1255 (Small)

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look and why not create a gift card holder and enter our challenge at SSCC? We would love to come and visit and see your creation.

Anything Goes Challenge at Bildmalarna Challenges

Hello Friends,

Today I want to show you what I, Stephanie, made for our Anything Goes Challenge.

I made a shaker card using Tosse and Friends on a log. I masked my image so that Tosse is sitting on the log next to his bunny friends.

IMG_1237 (Small)

I used my new McGill rose punches to make the rose and the McGill Pine punch. Here is a close up of the rose. It was pretty easy but took me a little while because I don’t have a fast setting glue. I definitely see why they suggest that, I would have had it put together in about 5 minutes instead of about 30 minutes … lol!  It was worth the wait though, don’t you agree?

IMG_1236 (Small)

The opening of my card was made using the Spellbinders new Wonky Squares, I used the large and second to the largest for the frame.  For my sentiment I used  SSD Beaded Ovals Stamps. The oval around the sentiment and the flowers in the corners are also part of this set. This new SSD set is awesome, be sure to check them out.

IMG_1232 (Small)

These stamp perfectly every time. This one ran a little but I used an index card mistakenly and was too lazy to stamp it again (bad me)!

  IMG_1233 (Small)

I added Twinkle Jewels in my shaker and also placed one on top of the stamped flowers. The paper used is Basic Grey Olivia.

IMG_1235 (Small)

I colored my images with the following Copics:

  • Skin – E13, E11, E00, E000, E0000, R22, R21, R20
  • Clothes – R24, R22, R20, BG78, BG75, BG72
  • Hair – E35, E33, E53
  • Log – E59, E57, E25, E53
  • Bunnies – R20, C1, C0

I had so much fun with this that I decided to make a second one. I used the same images and papers just different colors. I also used some of the patterned paper for my flower. This set of punches is part of the roses punch set but can be purchased separately.

Halloween Challenges at Stamping Scrapping Challenge Central and Scrappy Frogs

Today it is my turn to showcase my creation for the Halloween challenge at SSCC and we are also having a Halloween Treat Bag challenge at Scrappy Frogs

IMG_1226 (Small)

I made a Halloween treat bag. To make my little bag I used my Cricut Tags, Boxes and More cartridge.

IMG_1230 (Small)

My image and stamps are all Bildmalarna. Aren’t they just adorable? This little ‘bat’ was so fun to color, I just love all of the folds in Tosse’s cape, don’t you? I colored him with the following Copics:

  • Skin – E13, E11, E00, E000, E0000, R22, R21, R20
  • Clothes – V17, V15, V12, YR68, YR65, YR61, YG25, YG23, YG21, N8, N6, N4, N2, E35

Happy Halloween stamp

MSL Lace Challenge

Today it is my turn to post to Magnolia Stamp Lovers lace challenge.

For my project I chose Standing Fall Tilda. She is one of my favorite Tildas.

IMG_1215 (Small)

I added some lace on the side from my stash and used the new Spellbinders Beaded Ovals sprayed with Tattered Angels mist.   I colored Tilda with Copics (sorry, didn’t write down the colors).

IMG_1216 (Small)

The sentiment is computer generated and the leaves are buttons. IMG_1217 (Small)

I also used the ovals for the inside.
