Missing You

Today I would like to show you my creation for Digital Delights.

001 copy (Small)

I really like the way this turned out. I used the Lonely Pups set, Spring Accessory set and the Missing You sentiment set.  I added flowers to the tree and colored the images with Copics. I added dimension by placing all of these on pop dots and then cut some grass using a grass die. I added some Imaginisce gems to the fence.

Thanks for stopping by and visiting and be sure to check out all of the great digis at Digital Delights!

Baby Tilda gift bag

Well, this is a first for me. I decorated a bag ….. hmmm, could this be a new thing? Not likely as I don’t know where to get these little bags ….. hahaha …… but it was fun.

002 (Small)

So, this morning I went searching for inspiration and found tons (of course, it is everywhere) and found a few challenges to enter. I am entering my bag in the following challenges:

Here is the back of the bag. I couldn’t just decorate the front so used the same sketch for the back.

003 (Small)

I used the following materials:

I used the following Copics for Baby Tilda:

  • Skin – E13, E11, E00, E000, R12
  • Clothes – V17, V15, V12, V01, Y15, Y13, Y11
  • Hair – N6, N4, N2

And some more close ups of the buttons and ribbon.

Butterflies all around …. and a mess

Today I learned a new technique while viewing the live broadcast on Stamping Scrapping’s Technique and Tutorial site (link in the sidebar if interested).

Cindy showed us how to use the Inkssentials Cut-N-Dry pad. Wow, is this awesome! Here is what I made. Cindy always records her broadcasts so I was able to look through it several times and can always refer back to it when I forget how I did this.

009 (Small)

I followed the sketch at Stampin for the Weekend and went from there. Along with entering the Stampin for the Weekend challenge I am also entering this card in the following challenges:

I made a pull out tag and then stamped a sentiment from SSD Floral Blessings stamp set.

011 (Small)

Here is a close up of the stamped butterflies. Stamping Scrapping is now carrying Canvas that can be stamped on. It is adhesive back and is really cool!

010 (Small)

For the inside of my card I stamped again and then used some of the scraps I had left to decorate the inside.

012 (Small)

I used the following materials for this card:

So, I looked around my room and decided I am a messy crafter. Here are some pics just from making this card. I had stuff scattered everywhere Smile

Blue without you

Today I would like to show you a card using Lillyrose Dragon from Magnolia.
This card is for sale – $9.00 postage paid. If interested please email me – hester.stephanie@gmail.com.
I chose to make a 6 x 6 easel card. I so love to decorate the insides of my cards but they are always hidden. An easel card is the perfect solution.
004 (Small)
She is adorable and so fun to color! When I first stamped her I didn’t know what I was going to do and then looking at her face she just looked so sad so I decided to color her blue.
I added dimension behind the postage stamp dies and the dragon using adhesive squares. I also dug out my stamping up set that has the adorable clips with brads. Had to dig deep but I know they are YEARS old ….. 2003 or 2004 I think.
I used the following supplies:

My New Card Room

Well, the time has come to show you my redesigned card room. If you are a follower you saw where I had posted pictures of my room before asking for help on organizing. If you didn’t see and would like to see it ….. click here.

It’s not the prettiest as some others but it is organized and functional and I LOVE IT!!!

This picture is standing at the door of the room.

006 (Small)

We put in new drawer banks and countertop. And yes, everyone of the drawers are full. I even got rid of a lot!!

004 (Small)

Behind the door still houses my punches but I purchased these adorable cabinets from Oriental Trading Co and they fit perfectly behind the door. I ordered three white but they sent one black so I have enough room and will order another white one and then I will have three. They are perfect for holding my embossing powders, paints, etc.

007 (Small)

I found these cute little baskets at Dollar Tree, 2 for $1.

009 (Small)

I moved the two desk units onto the other wall. My original plan was to get rid of these but look at all of the work and storage space I would have given up had I done that. It’s a little dark for visitors but an overhead light sitting on top helps that.

I purchased some of the magnetic organizers from Michaels. Great use of reward points and 40% off coupon plus being 25% can’t go wrong.

005 (Small)

I also purchased the ribbon rack so now I have full view of my backyard. A little overhang but where it is is perfect.

010 (Small)

All of the stamps that I had on the wall fit neatly in these 6 binders. I ordered the binders and Stamp-N-Store Storage Panels from Stamping Scrapping. So so much better.

008 (Small)

Now, as you can see on my shelves, they are not complete yet. We ran out of brackets and Menard’s is currently out. I also didn’t really know what I wanted for shelves so this is kind of good. I started putting stuff away last night to see what more I wanted.

This section here currently has my flowers. I think I am going to move my Spellbinders dies from the next section here and add another shelf in between so I have more room for more dies Smile

002 (Small)

Here is the other side. You can see my dies here, they take a lot of space so adding another shelf on top of that will give me more room. It does limit me as to what I can put there but that’s OK.

I have all of my stamp pads and distress inks on this shelf but I have ordered a stamp pad/distress ink holder from Organize More that will be here in a few weeks. Have to order two more though so I can fit everything.

003 (Small)

I still have a long way to go as I have not gone through everything in my closet yet but the funny thing, at least I think so, is most all of my supplies I purchased from Stamping Scrapping. Man, does she have a lot of good stuff!!!!! Thanks Cindy Smile

OK, I’m off to create something now. I just love my new room!

002 copy (Small)

For the inside of the holder I lined it with gold paper. Here is a list of materials used:

A New Puppy …. and a layout

Today I would like to show you a scrapbook layout. Yes, that’s right, I haven’t forgotten how to scrapbook.

This is a layout I created of my grandson with his new puppy. They make a great pair.

I was getting ready to make a card featuring Happy Dance Nesbitt from Digital Delights and then my daughter posted these photos on Facebook. I just had to color Nesbitt to match Pepper, the new puppy. Aren’t they both just adorable??

Above Pepper I used a blank circular sentiment also from Digital Delights. I hand wrote on this.

Here is a list of materials:

Hope you like my layout and be sure to stop by Digital Delights and check out all of the goodies.

Another Apron Box

I love playing with this adorable Apron Box from Digital Delights. So many things that you can do with it.

Here is my next project for Digital Delights using the Apron Box and Time for Tea Booboo.

026 copy (Small)

So, what do you think? I made a card to go along with the box and my theme goes along with Booboo. You could fill the box with tea bags, it is the perfect size.

Here is a close up of Booboo.

I colored him with the following Copics:

  • E77, E74, E71, R12, BG05, BG02, BG00, YG23, E43, E41, E40

For the apron box I added a circular Mother’s Day Sentiment and stamped a teapot in the center. The teapot is from Stamping Scrapping Stamps – Drink Minis set.

On the back of the apron box I added a bow tie because all aprons have ties.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look. Don’t forget to hop on over to Digital Delights to check out all of the cool digis!!
