Yummy for the tummy

This project uses the mini accordian file that is featured over at the Magnolia-licious challenge blog. I altered it a bit so I could have more space on the front. The dimensions are 6 1/2 x 5 1/2. I increased the accordian paper to 5 1/4 x 12 so I could fit more inside pockets. I also added more inside pockets so recipe cards would fit up and down instead of sideways.

This fits into three challenges:
The papers used are by Momenta and is the year round pack. I purchased it at a Ben-franklin last year.

I used Tilda - #386 from the Yummy for your Tummy collection available at Magnolia Stamps US. I distressed the edges of the papers and layered them.

I thought with the theme being autumn what better recipe holder than soups and stews. I colored Tilda using Copics and cut out the pumpkins and leaves from one of the background papers. The sentiment is computer generated. Here is a close up of Tilda.

Instead of using envelopes I made the pocket folders using a brown cardstock and used my scor-tape to hold together.

This turned out very sturdy and did not require anything at the top to hold it closed.

Thanks for stopping by and visiting!
