Spellcaster Tilda

Happy Sunday!

Like many of my blogging friends I have received my new Magnolia stamps and the first one I inked up is Spellcaster Tilda. She is so adorable, she is definitely one of my favorites but the sad part is they are all my favorites.

Before I show you my card let me show you my Magnolia wall. I keep my stamps on plexi-glass (acrylic) sheets that I buy at Westlake’s Hardware. My hubby bought me three more sheets and they were a different size so I had to rearrange everything but talk about a Magnolia addiction ….. phew!

Here is my Magnolia stamps. These are all Tilda and Edwin with the first two rows on the top being Edwin and the rest being Tilda. I’m bad, I know. I also have a Bildmalarna wall which I will show you in the next post. Since these are newer stamps I don’t have as many but guaranteed as cute as they are I will fill that one up too.

Magnolia (Small)

OK, so on to my card. I used the distress technique that Suzanne Dean has published on her blog, Scrapbitz, on how to color with Copics to produce a distress look and this is my first try.

Isn’t she just so cute? I used some springy colored papers, kind of a coral colored. Here is a close up of Miss Tilda.

I colored her with the following Copics.

  • Skin – E13, E21, E00, E000, E0000, R21, W3
  • Dress – R02, Roo, Rooo, R0000
  • Hair – E33, E51, E50
  • Shoes and wand – T8, T6, T4, T2
  • Star – Y38 and Yellow Spica

Here is a pic of the inside, sorry for the blurriness.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!!
