Sugar Bowl challenge

I made this card for the Sugar Bowl challenge using a wonderful sketch by Tiets. I loved being able to put so many different colors and shapes on the card. It was a challenge to get everything lined up but it turned out nice. The stamp used is Sugar Nellie's Post Box. I used a title of We've Moved.

I colored the image using my Prisma color watercolors, cut out both images and added dimension to the figure so it would look like she was standing in front of the mail box. It's hard to see that in the picture (still getting used to my new camera).

The inside is decorated using the same type of layout as the front of the card. It's hard to see the colors good but they are a light olive, olive, lavendar, purple and a light, light olive.

A little slice of heaven ...

This is my first post as a new design team member for Scrappy Frogs challenge blog. The challenge is anything goes but a picture of the slice machine was posted for inspiration. When I think of 'slice' I think of food, hmmmm, wonder why. There is a great prize up for grabs, check it out!
I didn't come up with a food theme but I did use the word slice and turquoise, lavendar and green colors. I used a House Mouse stamp and colored it with my Prisma watercolor pencils.

I added some flower soft, available at Stamping Scrapping , at the bottom of the wooden barrel that the bunny is sitting in. I used my cuttlebug and nestabilities for the mat that the bunny is on. I used some paper flowers from OTC and some sparkles from CTMH. The sentiment is computer generated using the American Classic font.

The inside is decorated and has a sentiment that says ... right here with you.

Scrappy Frogs Design Team

I am soooo excited!!!! I am one of the lucky ten that has been selected to be a part of the Scrappy Frogs Challenge blog.

This is a first for me and I am so excited I can hardly take it, I feel like a little kid let loose in a candy store and can buy anything they want!! What a feeling! Check out the challenge for the other DT members. I didn't want to add their links here because I have not asked their permission, don't want to start off on the wrong foot.

Spring has Sprung - Corrosive challenge

This card is using a Tilda stamp from the Spring Collection for the Corrosive Challenge. I colored her using my Prisma Watercolor pencils. I also used a kite stamp from one of my SU! sets. I used black wire for the kite string and matching ribbon for the tail. The saying Spring is from a Cricut cartridge and I layered it using Flower Soft. I added some flowers and brads to the corners.

Magnolia vs Stampavie Challenge

I made this card using the sketch at the Magnolia vs Stampavie challenge. I used a Sarah Kay stamp and the wonderful Flower Soft to create this card.

I really like how this card turned out. The flower soft really made it stand out. I used my Prismacolor pencils to color the image and a SU! blending pen. The papers I used were from CTMH. Check out my shops if you would like to take a look at the CTMH products.

Daisy May Design Team call

I made this card using the sketch from Daisy May. They are also looking for a new DT member and I am applying. They have a wide variety of digi-stamps and they are oooh so cute!!

If you are a follower, or have visited my blog, you know that I am interested in becoming a part of a design team. I just think it would be so awesome to work with some of these wonderful creators. There is such awesome work out there in blogland, I could spend hours just oohing and aawing over the creations!!

OK, enough rambling. This card I used a stamp from Sugar Nellie designed by Rachelle Anne Miller. I have had this stamp for awhile and had not used it yet but it sure was fun to color her. Some may think that this is an easter card because of being pink but it's not. I wanted to color the bunny, didn't want to leave her pink. I have chosen paper from CTMH Daydream collection. I used a zigzag stitch on the side and a flower from my stash. I used a clear glitter pen for the flower beside the bunny and also the center of the flower. I colored the bunny with my Prisma watercolor pencils and used a SU! blending pen.

Magnolia April Sketch Challenge

I made this card for the Magnolia April Sketch Challenge. I just love the Magnolia stamps. They are so fun to color and so very cute.

I am still using my Prisma watercolor pencils. I did purchase a few skin color Copics but my SU! pens do not blend as well as the Copics so I need to keep practicing.

I used Close to My Heart papers to make this and a pink feather from my stash. I used a stamp from the CTMH series for the You are precious to me. I used a MS and another punch for the paper on the left side along with some very tiny green ribbon. I also used some Flower Soft and a Nestability that I purchased from Stamping Scrapping. This is my first use of the Flower Soft and it is instant love!! It is very easy to apply and dries quickly.
