For my card I chose to use Ribbon, pearls and/or gems and machine stitching. I stitched around all of my mats, added gems in the corners and a piece of ribbon behind Tilda. The mat around Tilda is cut with Spellbinders Labels 17.

The designer papers are the new Summer Sorbet from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps and they are so fun! Love all of the bright coordinated papers from this collection.
I stamped Tilda with long stocking onto Make it Crafty blending card with Memento Ink – Tuxedo Black and colored her with the following Copics.

It’s a party

Little Miss Muffet stamps has a new release and it’s all about a party, a tea party. Lots of new stamps are available and they are so versatile. Check out the total colllection here. I chose to use a few of the stamps but took a different approach.

For my card I used Tea Party Friends #1 – Naomi and Maya, Tea Party Friends #2 – Molly and Khloe and Tea Party Gifts. I colored them with Copics and used Spellbinders Card Creator Distressed Edges dies. I inked up the edges with Archival French Aquamarine ink and added dimension. I stamped the sentiment using the same ink.

Wonderland at Make it Crafty

This weeks inspiration at Make it Crafty is a Wonderland theme with an optional choice of sparkle without using glitter. It's hard for me to do something without glitter when I think of sparkle so I decided to dust off my perfect pearls and see what I could come up with.

I colored my project and then added Pearl Perfect Pearls to it. I then thought uh-oh, it covers too much of the image. This is what it looked like.

I thought I had ruined it since I had already set the Perfect Pearls but I found that I could buff the picture and reduce the amount of sheen. This is what it looks like after that.

Much better don't you think? Next I took a black plastic frame and Distress Paint - Picket Fence, Broken China and Picked Raspberry and colored the frame

Next I added a butterfly swirl that I inked with Black Soot Distress Ink and then added Pearl Perfect Pearls to it. A perfect fit to my frame.

I hope that I have inspired you to try something a little different and step outside of your comfort zone, you never know what you will find!
