For my card I chose to use Black and White and Wedding Couple B from 2010 Wedding Collection.

The papers are from Little Yellow Bicycle’s Swoon collection. The bow is made using a metallic ribbon and the charm says ‘To Love and To Cherish’.

I colored the couple with Copics:

Time for a wedding

It’s time for a new challenge at Totally Tilda and our theme is Tilda’s Wedding.

For my card I used Magnolia’s Bride and Bridesmaid. The base of my card is made with Bazill Cardstock. I used Spellbinders Scallop Hearts behind the image and an MS punch on the side.

 

I stamped the image onto Make it Colour blending card with Memento Desert Sand and colored the image with Copics.

A Christmas Bag

It’s time for a Tea Party

Welcome to the very special Make it Crafty Tea Party!

Let’s dance around from chair to chair, sipping a drink, eating a cake, shrinking then growing with excitement as you watch the entertainment unfold before your eyes.

I wanted to showcase this fabulous image with little distraction so I used a CAS style only adding this adorable chipboard ornate clock and Filigree Ribbon Sliders. I used Gold Frantage on the outside of the clock and the slider. Antique Linen Distress paint was used for the center of the clock.
I printed Alice onto Make it Colour blending card and colored her with the following Copics

• Hair – E53, E51, E50
• Dress and Rabbit – B04, B02, B00, B000, C8, C6, C4, C2

One for the Boys

Today I would like to show you a male card that I made. There are many wonderful images at Make it Crafty that can be used for making male cards. I think we all struggle after working with the lovely female images adding flowers, ribbons, pearls and such so when it comes to a male card they always look so bare. 

There are many ways to make a male card stand out and be just as handsome as the female cards.

For this card I used Gnomer Peter.

I created the card using browns, yellows, oranges and greens. A perfect color combination for a male card.

Here are a few ideas that can be used for male cards

• Twine - so many colors available but if only white is available it can be colored to any color with inks
• Buttons - all shapes and sizes add a little bit of decoration
• Pop dots - adds dimension and gives depth to the creation
• Brads - A great embellishment, use on male cards as pearls are used on female cards
• Frantage - Using white or an aged copper gives a distressed look
• Inks - adding inks to the edges of the papers gives an aged look
• Distressing - roughing up the edges is a great idea

There are many more embellishments and techniques that can be used to create a male card. I hope that I have given you some inspiration to give it a go.

Maggies are lonely and looking for a new home

I have some Magnolia stamps for sale. These are older stamps but as you can tell look brand new. They are mounted on EZ Mount, some by Magnolia, some by me. I always clean my stamps before putting them away.

Christmas Bingo

It’s time for a new challenge at Totally Tilda and this time we have a Christmas Bingo for you. We would like for you to create a card using this bingo grid.

For my card I didn’t use a traditional Christmas Tilda instead I used Tilda with Spitz Pocket and made her into a Christmas Tilda. She is adorable!

I wanted to show you Tilda before I inked over her with the tea dye.

I double stamped my image meaning I stamped with Memento Summer Sky onto a piece of paper and then stamped again, without re-inking, onto my blending card. I used the following colors:
