WSC32 - Black and White

This week at Whimsy Stamps we were asked to create something in black and white. I have an adopted granddaughter turning two so thought I would make her a card. She is so adorable that I chose the little skunk from Whimsy and came up with the sentiment of 'ur 2 stinkin cute'.

On the front I used the skunk and my Cricut. I cut out several 2's in different sizes to scatter on the front of the card. I used Nestabilities for the skunk. I added some flowers to the upper corner.

I used a little bit of green for the grass that the skunk is standing on and then put stickles on it.

The inside follows the same color scheme and I used my Cricut again for the sentiment.

Whimsy Challenge 31

The challenge this week at Whimsy Stamps is to use die-cuts in our project.

I recently purchased the cute little kitties from Whimsy stamps and they are so adorable!

I used some new paper with snowflakes and ornaments on it for my card matting. I used an off-white base and cut out the center so it would be a window. I added die cut snowflakes to the front of the card and then put the kitties behind the window.

I stamped the kitties onto a piece of ornament paper and cut out the present so that it looked like wrapping paper. I then colored another image and cut out the ribbon and kitties, added dimension and put them on top of the original image.

Come on over and check out this weeks challenge and join the fun!!

Hugs,

Whimsy Stamps challenge 29

Over at Whimsy Stamps we were asked to make something Christmas. I chose the cute little reindeer stamp and a project from Stampin Inspirations.

On the front I used the face of the reindeer and added the sentiment from WOJ.

On the back I used the full stamp.
Here is the inside.

Food, Family and Friends

This card was made for four challenges:
I used Tilda and Edwin from the Yummy for the Tummy collection by Magnolia stamps.

I colored them using Copics in yellow and green for the Lime and Lemon at Rosie Dee's. They are also sitting on the only piece of ribbon on the card. I love ribbon and usually have more than this but it fits the card perfectly.

On the inside I found a poem on the internet and made the journaling area the same as the front sketch.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.
