Tilda Blowing Hearts

I have another card to show you, this one uses Tilda Blowing Hearts from the With Love ‘13 collection.

001 (Medium)

This card is currently for sale in my Etsy shop – > HERE if interested.

I had a great time with this, I love it when a card comes together so easily. The papers are perfect. They are MME Lost and Found 3 – Ruby. I also used Sparkle Mesh Ribbon – Red on top of the paper. I love the fact that this has a pretty weave, is sparkly, and you can put it over paper and you can still see the color of the paper beneath it. I added dimension by using putting my red mat and Tilda on pop dots. The red ribbon bow I made using Becca’s Peg Bow Maker using ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon. The flower are from Wild Orchid and I colored one with Copics to match the grey in the paper.

Time for Birthdays

I know, the holidays are not even over yet but it is time to start on birthdays. This one is for my DIL.

001 (Medium)

This is Pink Ribbon Tilda from the new With Love ‘13 Magnolia collection. As you can see I didn’t color her Pink but Purple. I used Spellbinders Card Creator Polka Dot, Spellbinders Basic Card Creator – Set A and Spellbinders Basic Card Creator – Set B. The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the SSD Celebrate stamp set and the tickets are from Tim Holtz Odds and Ends. I stamped the tickets using Archival Ink – Deep Purple.

003 (Medium)

On the ticket I circled the Month and Day of her birthday.

002 (Medium)

I stamped Tilda with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Make it Crafty Blending card and colored her using the following Copics:

  • Skin – E13, E11, E00, E000, R12
  • Clothes – BV08, BV04, BV13, BV01, E53, E51, E50

For a friend

Wow, I can’t believe it, three posts in two days! This will be my last this weekend but I am off work for almost a week starting Thursday and I am hoping to spend most of that time, except for eating and sleeping, in my craft room.

This project is for a friend whose birthday is tomorrow. I have had this image, Elven Hestia from Make it Crafty, for awhile and just haven’t colored her until today. I had a great time but it sure did take a long time!

001 (Medium)

I took a step out of my comfort zone for this one, this is the first time I have colored an image with an unnatural hair color but I like it. I used N6 in the shadows and then colored over it with BG07 to give it some depth. I like the way it turned out.

Tilda’s Calendar

Today over at Totally Tilda starts a new challenge …. and the last challenge of the year for us. This challenge will run until January 12th and all of us Tildarettes will be taking a break and will not be leaving comments. We want to wish all of you a happy holiday and we will back with you next year.

For my calendar I used a shadow box project that came in my monthly kit from Amazing Paper Graces. If you haven’t heard about these kits be sure to hop on over and take a peek, they are awesome!

I altered this by adding the 2013 banner cut from my Silhouette Cameo (love this machine, thanks hubby Smile). I then stamped these two using MIC Blending Card and Memento Tuxedo Black.

004 (Medium)

I colored Tilda catching stars from the 2012 Prince’s and Princesses collection and Hello Little Butterfly from the 2011 Butterfly Dreams collection with the following Copics.

  • Skin – E13, E11, E00, E000, R14, R12

Little Darling Sweetheart

Today I made a card for my adopted granddaughter’s fifth birthday. For my image I used What a Sweetheart from Little Darlings stamps Cutie Pies collection. She is the perfect stamp for a five year old.
