Sparkling Tilda

Today is my turn to show you my creation for the Stamping Scrapping sparkle challenge. Sure does seem like a lifetime ago that I posted so I am pleased that I can now. Sometimes life just doesn’t allow enough time for the little pleasures!

IMG_1796 (Small)

For my image I chose to use Tilda with Many Hearts.  She is currently out of stock at Stamping Scrapping but you can still purchase her and she will be shipped immediately when received. I stamped Tilda using Memento Tuxedo Black and colored her using Copics.

IMG_1798 (Small)

My sentiment is from Just Rite stamps and is from the You Inspire Me cling collection.  My sentiment is placed on the SSD Anglaise Lace Circle dies that I cut using my Spellbinders Grand Calibur. These dies are designed by Stamping Scrapping Designs. I also used SSD Frou Frou Tag Dies behind the Anglaise die. I added a couple of pearls onto the Frou Frou tag.

IMG_1799 (Small)

My flowers are also another exclusive to Stamping Scrapping, Burgundy Orchids. Aren’t they great? I just love the way they look with the roses. I added some green with my McGill Pine punch.

IMG_1800 (Small)

Here is the inside of my card. The sentiment also uses the Just Rite You Inspire Me cling set. I used my Grand Calibur to cut my frame using Spellbinders Scalloped Ovals and Large Classic Ovals. For my center score on my card I used my Scor-Pal.

Dies, dies everywhere at Magnolia Stamp Lovers

Hello!

Today it is my day to show you my project for Magnolia Stamp Lovers. Our theme this time is to use dies on your project. With 17 grandchildren I am always in need of birthday cards and with 14 of those being boys my Edwin stamps get used a lot!

IMG_1761 (Small)

I chose to use Pirate Edwin for my image. Since I don’t have the Barrel, Anchor and skull stamp I sat him on the steps. For my card I used Spellbinders Grand Nestabilities Labels 1 and ran them ALL through my Grand Calibur at the same time! What a great machine.

IMG_1762 (Small)

I used the following copics to color Edwin.

  • Skin – E13, E11, E00, E000, R11
  • Pants, shoes & hat – N8, N6, N4, N2
  • Shirt – YG99, YG95, YG93, YR24, YR21, YR20
  • Hair – E39, E35
  • Steps – N5, N3, N1

For the inside of my card I added a gift card envelope along with some Pirate gems from my stash.

IMG_1764 (Small)

The sentiment was made using SSD Label Accents and Fancy Tags stamps. They sure stamp nice don’t they?

Pastel and Bling

Today starts the 3rd challenge at the House of Gilli.

Here is my card for your viewing pleasure.

IMG_1756 (Small)

I chose the adorable Fairy Gilli for my image. She is currently out of stock at Stamping Scrapping but I’m sure she will be there soon!

The cardstock I used is from a Disney Tinkerbell paper pack and is so fitting for Fairy Gilli. The flowers I used are mini roses and the new Purple Orchids available only at Stamping Scrapping. Aren’t they beautiful? I also used my McGill Pine punch.

IMG_1757 (Small)

IMG_1759 (Small)

Behind Fairy Gilli I used a Spellbinders Impressability and ran it through my Spellbinders Grand Calibur along with the Spellbinders Nestabilities Classic Ovals

IMG_1758 (Small)

For my bling I used Ranger Stickles in Diamond and Grape. The little flower is from Stamping Scrapping and they are the little flower pack from SSD.

I colored Fairy Gilli using the following copics:

  • Skin – E11, E00, E000, R20
  • Dress and wings – BV11, BV00, BV000, BG01, BG000, BG0000
  • Hair – E35, E30

On the inside of my card I used SSD Beaded Ovals Stamps for my sentiment and border.

You Rock

It’s been a busy week, the software project I am working on at work is getting closer to finishing up so we are working lots and lots. I did find some time to work on a birthday card for my grandson though.

Here it is.

IMG_1767 (Small)

I am using this adorable Sugar Nellie Manga image. My sentiment is from one of my House Mouse Stamp of the Month packs available at Stamping Scrapping. It fits perfectly with this little fella. I followed the sketch over at Get Sketchy.

I colored him with the following Copics:

IMG_1768 (Small)

  • Skin – E11, E00, E000
  • Clothes – E87, E44, E42, R89, R59, R39, B39, B37, B34
  • Guitar – R89, R59, R39, C2, Spica Silver, N6, N4
  • Shoes & Glasses – N8, N6, N4, N0
  • Hair – E37, E35, E30

IMG_1770 (Small)

Here is the inside. He lives a few hours away so I added a gift card holder and even though it is empty in the pic it won’t be when I send it …. lol. The birthday sentiment is by Stampin’ Up!

I am entering this in the following challenges:

Sketch challenge at SSCC

Today it is my turn to show you my sketch creation for Stamping Scrapping Challenge Central.

IMG_1738 (Small) (2)

I made a little mini album. I found the instructions over at Scrapbitz and it was so adorable that I thought I would make one. For the front I chose to use one of Stamping Scrapping Designs new dies, Anglaise Lace Circle. I stamped the cutout using SSD Beaded Circles Stamps and the Handmade with love comes from the SSD Beaded Ovals Stamps. The flowers are designed especially for Stamping Scrapping and are called the Little Flower Pack. I added some pearls to the center of the flowers on the front.

Here are a couple of close ups of the front.

IMG_1739 (Small)

IMG_1740 (Small)

And here is the inside.

IMG_1741 (Small) (2)

I used the new Scor-Pal to score my paper and assembled the pockets using 1/8” Scor-tape. It’s great, more lines, nice grooves. You should check it out! I also used SSD Beaded Ovals Stamps around each one of the ovals. The ovals are cut from Spellbinders Deckled Edge classic ovals with my Grand Calibur. I just love this machine, it is so nice to fill it with as many dies as I can fit and just cut away!!  I added more pearls and more little flowers. The stamp on the first panel comes from the SSD Label Accents and the border around the stamp is from the SSD Tag Accents. I just love these stamps, mixing and matching with the different sets makes wonderful projects! For my ink I used Tim Holtz Broken China and Tim Holtz Frayed Burlap. The paper used is Core’dinations and DCWV Linen set. My images are Mini Dreamy Tilda, Mini Tilda in Winter Coat and Mini Edwin with Rose. And I used my favorite coloring medium, Copics. Here is a list:

  • Skin – E11, E00, E000, R20
  • Hair – E35, YR24, YR20
  • Clothes – BG78, BG75, BG72, E55, E53, E50
  • Rose – YG63, R39, R35, R30

Phew, that’s a lot of product isn’t it? Did you know that all of the products I used here are available at Stamping Scrapping? It’s a one stop shop with wonderful Customer Service!!

Here are some close ups of each of the panels.

IMG_1742 (Small)IMG_1743 (Small)IMG_1744 (Small)IMG_1745 (Small)

And here are the tags that come out of each pocket. This is my youngest daughters family. Aren’t they all adorable (even hubby Smile)

The theme is green at the House of Gilli

Today it is my turn, Stephanie, to show you my creation for this challenge over at the House of Gilli. Well, since this is March and the theme is green what would you expect the two to become if you are in the US? St. Patrick’s Day right? Well, that is pretty close to what I did.
IMG_1729 (Small)
So, for the outside of my card I used the Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut cartridge for the Shamrock and the pot o’gold. For the font I used Mickey Fonts.  I sanded the shamrock and the pot with my sanding block
IMG_1730 (Small)
I colored the gold in the pot with Gold Smooch. Looks pretty good I think, nice and bright.
IMG_1731 (Small)
Here is the inside. I chose to use Burlesque Gilli for my image, she just screamed Irish to me so I thought she would be a perfect fit and of course she had to have red hair. Red heads look awesome in green!
Here’s a close up
IMG_1732 (Small)
Her hat is from the Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut cartridge  and I used more smooch on the hat and the gold accents on her outfit. The Shillelagh (Irish stick) I drew. I used the following Copics:
  • Skin – E11, E00, E000, R20
  • Outfit – G28, G24, G21, N8, N6
  • Hair – E09, E07, YR09
Thanks for stopping by!
