Just a Note

Hello Friends! Today the sun is shining here in Missouri and making it very, very bright because of all the snow!

I wanted to show you the card that I made today using Daisy by Elisabeth Bell. I made this for the challenge at StampARTic. I love this blog, they have great tutorials and in fact, I used one of their tutorials for my card.

Here it is. I chose some paper from my stash for the base. I used Spellbinders Nestabilities Lacey Circles, flowers from my stash, McGill’s pine punch, Tim Holtz Aged Mahogany distress ink pad.

Here is a close up of Daisy.

I colored her with the following Copics:

  • Skin – E11, E00, E000, R20, R11
  • Hair – E37, YR24, YR21
  • Clothes and flowers – RV99, RV95, RV93, RV91,B99, B97, B95, B93, B91, YG63
  • Shadow – W3, W1, W0, W00

The sentiment is from the SSD Lacey Squares set and stamped using the Aged Mahogany ink. Now for the surprise.

It is an Easel Post It Note holder …. isn’t that cool? The tutorial is on the StampARTic site.

Here is a pic of it closed.

Beautiful card, love how you added the flowers along the scallop, resembling her wreath. Love it!
