Dog Days of Summer

Today is my day to show you my creation for our Dog Days of Summer challenge at Stamping Scrapping Challenge Central. I think we all pretty much struggled with what does Dog Days of Summer mean? Well, here is my interpretation.

009 copy (Small)_thumb[1]

I chose to use Edwin waiting for fish as my image. To me he is the perfect depiction of Dog Days of Summer.

I used the following materials:

010 copy (Small)_thumb[1]

Here’s a close up of Edwin

012 copy (Small)_thumb[1]

And the crackle paint

011 copy (Small)_thumb[1]

And the open easel card.

Thanks for stopping by today and hope you will join us for our Dog Days of Summer challenge!

Excellent job on this card Stephanie! The crackle paper is such a wonderful way to add texture and how fun it makes the entire card. Edwin is a love - beautifully colored and he stands out perfectly in the card. Gorgeous work...hugs...Barb
