Black plus one at the House of Gilli

Hi, friends,

Today it is my turn to show you my creation for the Black plus one challenge at the House of Gilli.

For my image I chose Renaissance Gilli.

009 (Small)

I so love this Gilli and I especially love coloring Gilli with red hair. I’m not sure why I like it so much but I often choose red as her color.

I used three different Spellbinders Nestabilities sets:

I used my Scor-pal to score the large heart circle. I cut two of these using my Grand Calibur and then pieced them together.

For my sentiment I used one of the small stamps from Stamping Scrapping Designs Frou Frou Tag set.

I hope you like my project and we would love to see yours so come on over and join our challenge!

Graduation and Congratulations at Magnolia Stamp Lovers

The new challenge at Magnolia Stamp Lovers this time is Graduation/Congratulations.

I used my Cricut to make the Graduation hat, some fibers from my stash and a silver star. I stitched the card on my sewing machine.

The inside is where you will find Graduate Tilda

IMG_1860 (Small)

I colored her with copics and then cut her out.

Stitchin’ it Up at the House of Gilli

Today it is my turn to post at the House of Gilli. I chose to use one of the new Gilli’s …… Cowgirl Gilli. She is so adorable.

IMG_1887 (Small)

I went way out of my comfort zone on this with the papers. It was hard for me to mix and match all of these patterns but it turned out just fine!

I cut and matted my paper and then sewed it on my sewing machine using three different stitches. After I colored Gilli with Copics I used my Grand Calibur to cut out my Spellbinders Labels 18.

Well, have you had a chance to check out the new Gilli’s available at Stamping Scrapping? They are just awesome!

Magnolia Stamp Lovers loves Flowers

Over at MSL our challenge this time is to use flowers and that I did. I love flowers, all kinds, all colors and if you visit me often I use them on just about every project I make. That made this project especially easy for me.

IMG_1870 (Small)

While I was editing my photos I realized the front shot of the card was blurry, guess we all have our bad photo days!

I chose to do the card in yellows and blues, a nice spring color. It brightens the day that is for sure.

IMG_1871 (Small)

My image is Tilda with Rubber Boots from the Butterfly Dreams Collection and I think she is adorable, I love all of the curls! I masked her along with the Open Gate from the Hoppy Easter collection.

IMG_1872 (Small)

For my flowers I used SSD Gardenia’s and Prima Buttercup Roses. The little branch is by McGill that I special ordered from Stamping Scrapping.

IMG_1873 (Small)

My sentiment is from SSD Lacey Squares collection and I also added some pearls.

IMG_1874 (Small)

And the inside of the card. Think I should have dressed this up a little too but if I put too much in it then it doesn’t want to close.
