For a friend

Wow, I can’t believe it, three posts in two days! This will be my last this weekend but I am off work for almost a week starting Thursday and I am hoping to spend most of that time, except for eating and sleeping, in my craft room.

This project is for a friend whose birthday is tomorrow. I have had this image, Elven Hestia from Make it Crafty, for awhile and just haven’t colored her until today. I had a great time but it sure did take a long time!

I took a step out of my comfort zone for this one, this is the first time I have colored an image with an unnatural hair color but I like it. I used N6 in the shadows and then colored over it with BG07 to give it some depth. I like the way it turned out.

I am entering this in the following challenges:

Thanks for stopping by and visiting, happy holidays.

WOW!!! This turned out GORGEOUS!!! I really like her blue hair..i'm glad you had a positive experience with going out of your comfort zone with the blue hair!! Your friend will just love this card!!!
You deserve your time off in your favorite place..so your craft room is definitely where you should spend it... Heck, I would probably EAT and SLEEP in my craft room also if I had some time off!! lol
Have a great time off!
Hugs,
Trish
