Sketch challenge at SSCC

Today it is my turn to show you my sketch creation for Stamping Scrapping Challenge Central.

I made a little mini album. I found the instructions over at Scrapbitz and it was so adorable that I thought I would make one. For the front I chose to use one of Stamping Scrapping Designs new dies, Anglaise Lace Circle. I stamped the cutout using SSD Beaded Circles Stamps and the Handmade with love comes from the SSD Beaded Ovals Stamps. The flowers are designed especially for Stamping Scrapping and are called the Little Flower Pack. I added some pearls to the center of the flowers on the front.

Here are a couple of close ups of the front.

And here is the inside.

I used the new Scor-Pal to score my paper and assembled the pockets using 1/8” Scor-tape. It’s great, more lines, nice grooves. You should check it out! I also used SSD Beaded Ovals Stamps around each one of the ovals. The ovals are cut from Spellbinders Deckled Edge classic ovals with my Grand Calibur. I just love this machine, it is so nice to fill it with as many dies as I can fit and just cut away!!  I added more pearls and more little flowers. The stamp on the first panel comes from the SSD Label Accents and the border around the stamp is from the SSD Tag Accents. I just love these stamps, mixing and matching with the different sets makes wonderful projects! For my ink I used Tim Holtz Broken China and Tim Holtz Frayed Burlap. The paper used is Core’dinations and DCWV Linen set. My images are Mini Dreamy Tilda, Mini Tilda in Winter Coat and Mini Edwin with Rose. And I used my favorite coloring medium, Copics. Here is a list:

  • Skin – E11, E00, E000, R20
  • Hair – E35, YR24, YR20
  • Clothes – BG78, BG75, BG72, E55, E53, E50
  • Rose – YG63, R39, R35, R30

Phew, that’s a lot of product isn’t it? Did you know that all of the products I used here are available at Stamping Scrapping? It’s a one stop shop with wonderful Customer Service!!

Here are some close ups of each of the panels.

And here are the tags that come out of each pocket. This is my youngest daughters family. Aren’t they all adorable (even hubby Smile)
