….Polka dots that is. Along with this weeks inspiration at Make It Crafty blog of non-square cards we were also given the option to do polka dots. I really like the way this turned out.
After I colored Pearl I took a Memento black pen and just started adding dots and it really made it pop!
For my card I decided to go with a circle easel card and I wanted it small enough that I could fit Pearl above the circle. She is so elegant all decked out in this gorgeous dress!
I love using this chipboard, it is nice and sturdy and I can make it any color or texture that I want. To color the chipboard I used a distress ink pad and the distress sponge tool. I dabbed the tool in the ink and then just dabbed away on the chipboard until it was the color I wanted. I would like to say that I didn't get inky fingers but I did :) You don't really need to hold on to it when you dab it but I always seem to.
